Outstanding Regional Worker

The Worker's Cup began in 1981 to recognize the outstanding worker at regional events during the past year.

The recipient is decided based on nominations from the membership and a vote of the Board of Governors. The Worker's Cup is not necessarily presented each year.

History of the Trophy:
Gifted to Nebraska Region in the early 1970's by then Area Governor, Mel Bogus, this award started out as the Governor's Cup.

It was presented by the Area Governor upon the recommendation of the Region's Board of Governors. The next Area Governor had no interest in continuing the tradition, so the trophy was put to a new use as the Worker's Cup.

This trophy hangs on a wall.
