
Lake Afton was a true road course, one of three in the United States. (The other two were Ponca City, Oklahoma and Lake Garnett in Kansas).
The first race was in 1964. The Lake Afton Grand Prix was a two-day National Race held once a year in August. The track is 1.9 miles long. The course is no longer used.
